About this service

A travelling food market that brings fresh, affordable food directly into communities based on a rotating schedule. The market operates from a refrigerated van (and sometimes a trailer in warmer months) and offers a range of items including: fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs and baked goods, ready-to-eat meals prepared in TNDF’s community kitchen, and meal kits with ingredients and simple recipes. The food is sourced through partnerships with farms, grocery stores, and donations from organizations and community members.

Everything is affordably-priced, sitting between wholesale and retail costs. You can pay via debit, credit, cash, or market bucks

How to access

Find a location and shop! You can pay via debit, credit, cash, or market bucks

Market Bucks can be purchased on-site or received as a gift for someone else. They are used exactly like money when shopping at the Mobile Food Market. You simply hand them over at checkout to pay for your groceries.

You can also receive market bucks for free by registering with the Nourish House. They will give you market bucks when you go to your in-person appointment or the market bucks can be packed into your pick-up bag
• Household of 1-3 get $5 each time they come (maximum of 10$ per month). Households of 4 or more get $10 (maximum of $20 per month).
• If you only go in once a month, it can still be arranged for you to get the maximum market bucks

Who it's for

The market is open to the general public. There is no formal application process to shop.
